I believe multibooting is very prevalent, particularly for:-

1. new users with access to a single computer who wish to try out Linux.

2. experienced users with laptop machines.

3. sysadmins comparing driver performance

Sysadmins need to be able to support all three of the above users.
At least lilo concepts should be examinable.
