Another (hopefully final) question about Level 1: how to distribute the
content over the exams? I hope especially Alan and Kara will formulate an
opinion. I like to bring this next week to our AC, which has lots of book
publishers and training vendors who will have to re-write their books for
our new exams.
I'll list area numbers, (number of objectives), and total weight.
Current 101:
3 (7): 26
4 (8): 21
6 (2): 6
8 (4): 9
11 (5): 21
Total 83
Current 102:
1 (3): 10
2 (6): 24
5 (2): 7
7 (4): 8
9 (2): 9
10 (4): 10
12 (3): 18
13 (5): 20
14 (3): 10
Total 116
I propose to move Areas 7 (now: Printing) and 9 (Shells, scripting
etc.) to exam 101, to get more balanced exams; in the current revision:
New 101:
103 (8): 28
104 (8): 21
106 (2): 6
107 (3): 6
108 (3): 8
109 (2): 9
111 (5): 21
Total 99
New 102:
101 (5): 11
102 (6): 24
105 (2): 7
110 (3): 9
112 (3): 18
113 (5): 20
114 (3): 10
Total 99
(Number of objectives and weights will change)
