I think it will be hard to address issues around GUI Environments and
Window Managers. Perhaps we could address the fundamentals of
understanding window managers versus environments? Understanding the
layers of an environment? Knowing the various pieces, which are essential
and which are not? These details seem to be lost on a great number of
admins, even above the jr level.
