We finally made it. The updated Level 1 exams have been sent to our testing centers, VUE and Prometric, and paper versions have been created for use at tradeshows and other events. These exams are a scored beta, therefore candidates will recieve scores immediately, based on their performance on items retained from the old exams. The beta items within the exam will be used for the final exam forms, to create unique paper forms for on-site testing, and to rotate within electronic forms to help maintain security.
These new exams will be live with VUE and Prometric by LWCE, August 13, 2002. VUE will continue to offer the existing Level 1 exams until November 1 to fulfill needs of vendors and candidates who have prepared based on the old exam objectives.
