Pheraphs is my limited experience (I don't work for a big company but 
for many small and medium ones), but you should tell me your experience 
to be able to understand your needs about LILO.

I think that today asking about LILO is not relevant to evaluate 
competence for a sysadmin, that's far more important to be able to deal 
with network boot (read pxe, etherboot and the like) and I don't 
remember anything about this.

Forcing knowledge about obsolete and unused technology (when as said a 
simple google search is all is needed to solve problems) is not good 
when you want to measure competences for a today sysadmin.
