Hi,

I'd like to be able to include in my courseware various elements
from the LPI objectives (weight, description, detailed
objectives) without having to copy and paste them. When the
objectives change, I'd like to be able to update them easily,
without having to check every one of them for modifications.

My courseware is generated from various text files so having the
LPI objectives in a parsable plain text format would do much of
the job. Initially, I thought I could simply use the wiki source
of wiki.lpi.org:

====106.1 Install and configure X11====

{|
| style="background:#dadada" |

'''Weight'''

| style="background:#eaeaea" | 2
|-
| style="background:#dadada; padding-right:1em" |

[...]

* /etc/X11/xorg.conf
* xhost
* DISPLAY
* xwininfo
* xdpyinfo
* X

Of course I can parse that and get rid of the style information.

But I'd also like to have more structural information, such as
being able to identify paths, commands, environment variables...
which is not possible from the wiki or LPI's Web site.

So, do the objectives already exist somewhere in a
straightforward parsable meaningful plain text format? If they
don't, I volunteer to make a proposal on such a format to discuss
and improve it with whoever might be interested in the same
thing.
