I cannot see any of them apart /etc/inittab in what's listed in http://www.lpi.org/linux-certifications/programs/lpic-1/exam-102/, topic 106. But still there is a mention of xdm configuration files. If you are talking of User Interfaces and Desktops I think XDM has no place there, at least if you want to test knowledge about what it currently deployed and used. All main desktop (and server) Linux distribution are using other display managers. I don't remember to have seen any machine using XDM for years, apart the ones we had to setup to teach this topic. So I advocate to totally remove XDM.
