May I propose a more logical and didactic order of the topics. ( I know/understand that LPI is an certification institute and that these are end-terms. Order is not that important to an certification institute.) Students tend to read topics in exam order. Course buyers want to see "all exam topics" in a course. As this is a clean sheet I would like to take advantage of this and put the exam topics in an more logical order to help these two audiences. I propose: Topic 390: Samba BasicsThe topics in the LPIC 1/2 series are in a very strange and unlogical order. In fact this is why I started developing course materials. Before OSA material, I taught a course that started on the first day with "Interrupts of I/O cards" because that was topic 101.1 at the time! Maybe this is a chance not to do that again. In the current order we start with an fairly unrelated topic "OpenLDAP" that is eventually needed as prerequisite for "Samba Domain Integration" Light up your torches please! Kind regards, Reinier --
