Thats similar to "aware of the commonly available MTA programs" in LPIC1.
And I consider it a good idea for a LPIC2 admin to have that kind of
awareness of lilo and the other mentioned boot loaders.

But why do we mention files like /etc/lilo.conf, isolinux.bin and
pxelinux.0? That's knowledge, you only know when you've practically worked
with all these bootloaders recently. Or that some trainer has got to tell
you and you forget it right after the exam.

I'd rewrite that objective to:

==== 202.3 Alternate Bootloaders (weight: 2) ====

'''Weight'''  2

'''Description'''

Candidates should be aware of other bootloaders and their major features.

'''Key Knowledge Areas:'''

* LILO
* SYSLINUX, ISOLINUX, PXELINUX
* Understanding of PXE

'''The following is a partial list of the used files, terms and utilities:'''

* lilo

* syslinux

* extlinux

* isolinux

* pxe, dhcp, tftp
