I think that the 'major features' part explains the need for lilo (think the command) and lilo.conf. It is a difference from the, now de facto, GRUB boot loader that we're focused on. Having to reinstall the boot loader after any configuration change is very useful information for someone coming from grub. Regards, -- G.
