The directories /etc/networkand /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ are here in one row. Like this the Debian-based and the Redhat-based distros are considered.

Everything seems perfect to me. :-)

Well, thank you, i know you're right but what /etc/network is refered in
205.3 objectives? Maybe both the Debian directory and
/etc/sysconfig/network file? In the later case, we could clarify it just
a bit?

I'm running Linux Mint (Debian based) and I have the directory

$ ls /etc/network/
if-down.d/      if-pre-up.d/    interfaces.d/
if-post-down.d/ if-up.d/        run/
If that was your question.

For Debian based distros at least, /etc/network/interfaces is the main
configuration
file for networking.

Hello,

I just noticed that 205.3 objectives refere to "/etc/network". Is it the
directory /etc/network/ (with the trailing slash) on Debian or the file
/etc/sysconfig/network on RedHat?

Éric
