Hi, having discussed this topic with Fabian in the past, I am also much in favor of splitting the 304 in two separate exams.
The question is, what would be part of the storage exam. Including/expanding Ceph that is currently missing is an obvious choice. That alone could/should be a topic with a weight of 8 or 9. For that I would be ready to write questions. DRBD is I think well covered. However, I don't know about GFS2 and OCFS2. Are there really still installations out there? GFS2 I can imagine, but OCFS2? And in which exam would the HA stuff go? The virtualization part could be extended to cover containers as well.
