Absolutely correct.

But:  if you want to do lightweight clients AND some of the systems
you are sending jobs to are NOT LPRng,  THEN you are,  in the words
of the immortal Vincent Price, "In deep trouble, son".

You need to have the ability to bind to privileged ports...
