I cannot answer the 0 page question but it looks like you have a typo in the
accounting line in your printcap that could cause accounting.pl to not run. You
have libexex (last leter is x) instead of the more usual libexec (last leter is
c).

Hi
I must be missing something, but having reread the ifhp and lprng how-tos,
I have 2 major problems, and would appreciate assistance.
If anyone is using the HP4050N, and has accounting working, please let me
know how.
Otherwise, I have 2 problems:
1 The pagecount is always zero.
2 Whenever I try to run accounting.pl, the printjob is aborted
(lpq shows abort).
My printcap is below, and the last job in acct is shown below.
