Thanks, Steve. That is not the error - and I am pretty furious with
myself for the typo in the mail!!
I had copied accounting.pl to the spool directory where acct is, changed
the path in printcap to have no path, and still
had the same error. When I copied my printcap to the mail, i retyped the
original
path, with the typo - idiot! Wastes everyone time - apology to all.
