Hi!
Does somebody know anything about the following problem:
Some folks told me that they can't print on a single printer
and after some tests I found that I can send a job to a local
queue with lpr but nothing happens, no comment, no error-message...
The spool-directory of that printer is flooded with 1000 hfAxxx files
where xxx is 000 up to 999. temporarely two tempyyyyyyy-files exist
in that directory
and vanishes with the contents of the printjob and the normal spooling
file...
The problem is: I have changed nothing!!! All works fine until friday...
All printcap-entrys looks fine the only thing that can be a reason for
all
is the fact that the spool-directory is mounted over NFS to a server
which is gone down last friday and was restartet...
I will test that but I am (nearly) sure that this is not the problem ;-)
Thanks in advance
Thomas
