there theems to be a little problem still in 3.6.22 and in 3.6.23:
I'm spooling on a SOLARIS 2.7 machine, everything works fine but the
status line of the lpq request says "Filter-status ... ABORT"
The debug flag produced the following output:

Naturally the error status confuses a few customers so I had to 'fall
back' on an older version for a while...
