sorry for the delay getting back.
okay
:ld=\033E
:tr=\033E
seems to have fixed the problem for lpf.
I changed the filter to ifhp like you said.
ifhp worked when I had the :ifhp=status@
and it stopped when I rem'ed it out. (a little dos speak from the old days :0) )
I tried to update to ifhp-3.3.21beta2.tgz
but got the following when trying to unpack.
Script started on Tue Aug 22 17:05:13 2000
# tar xzvf ifhp-*
tar (grandchild): Read error on ifhp-3.3.21: Is a directory
tar (grandchild): At beginning of tape, quitting now
tar (grandchild): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: ifhp-3_3_21beta2.tgz: Not found in archive
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
# exit
Script done on Tue Aug 22 17:05:34 2000
???? what did I do wrong?
thanks very much for your help.
