Thank you but the change was to switch from lprng3.6.12 to 3.6.24
and ifhp3.3.10 to 3.3.21, sorry I had forgotten to tell that ...
The trick was to add ps_eoj_at_start@ only for that printer!
In version 3.3.10 of ifhp this flag was absent - or better there
was no CTRL-D by default ;-)
Now everything seems to work as it should.
