I tried it. It is very usefull. Just two remarks
a) I had to correct by hand the printcap it converted from
lpd style (spaces separating queues were missing, connents starting
with ':', some lines joined together).
b) it looks like setting gsuppdir in config file has no effect.
Alladin Ghostscript puts drivers in /usr/share/ghostscript/6.01/lib,
so gsuppdir needs to be changed to /usr/share/ghostscript/6.01
Setting this in config does not lead to found upp drivers.
If I change inside the code as
if $gsuppdir/*/lib/$fname == ""
^^^
then it all works.
