I don't know a darn about ifhp, but what happens if you make
the QMS entry look like the HP entry (assuming HP behavior
is what you want).

 :cm=QMS MagiColor 2
 :lp=qmsprinter%35
 :ifhp=model=qms1725

(This wasn't even worth $0.02.)
