Yup, the format for allow is:
allow: IP NETMASK
However, you should check your printer's documentation as to what
parameters the printer really supports, especially when you're trying to
turn off all access to the printer, e.g. ftp, telnet, wacky web server via
a DHCP/TFTP config file.
Also check on your syslog host to see whether the printer rejects any of
the config line values...
