Hi,
I'm using LPRng-3.7.4 for Load Balancing.
There is a local server Queue, but the chooser
may also select a remote printer "CF900@printer3".
The chooser selects the remote printer until there
are three jobs in the remote queue. The chooser
selects nothing until the remote queue has less than
2 Jobs. The remote printer runs lprng-3.6.14.
My problem is that 50-60 percent of the jobs are
not removed from the Load Balancing Queue, but they
are printed. When lpd is restarted or when an incoming
job activates a new server the jobs will be printed
a second time, and again 50-60 percent will remain in
the Queue.
My Test-setup:
The chooser selects a remote printer or
the CF900printernull, which sends the jobs to /dev/null
If the chooser selects CF900printernull everything is Ok,
but if it selects CF900@printer3 some printed Jobs remain in the
Queue:
