I think maybe because you are trying to do accounting on the
client machine.
I would make a printcap entry on the client somewhat like this
dazel
:lp=printer@dazel
:client
:force_localhost@
And the best part is you dont have to worry about a spool Q
on the client machines, since we force direct delivery to the printserver.
