>file. Nothing fancier than that. So, here's the lpd_printcap entry:
>
> :sd=/var/spool/lpd/%P
> :lp=plotter.owlnet.rice.edu%9100
> :sh
> :ifhp=model=hpdj2500cp
> :filter=/usr/site/ifhp/libexec/filters/ifhp
> :if=/usr/site/ifhp/libexec/filters/ifhp
> :of=/usr/site/ifhp/libexec/filters/ofhp
> :vf=/usrt/site/ifhp/libexec/filters/ifhp -c
> :ae=|/usr/site/mdriver/bin/plottacct.pl
> :la@

This for a 3500CP:

lp|HP Designjet 3500CP:\
        :lpd_bounce:\
        :[EMAIL PROTECTED]:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:\
        :af=/var/log/lp-acct:\
        :lf=/var/log/lp-errs:\
        :if=/usr/lib/filters/ifhp -T model=hpdj2500cp,status@:\
        :of=/usr/lib/filters/ifhp -T model=hpdj2500cp,status@:\
        :mx#0:\
        :sh:

Note that there's a "raw" queue in the plotter string: that's the name of
the queue in the plotter's lpd server. I don't know this name on the 2500CP
(check manuals). If you have Mac clients printing postscript, add the tbcp
option in the ifhp entries.
