On version 3.6.12 if I did

lpq -Praw@pc

It would bypass printcap and talk to 'pc' and get status for raw. I used
to use it to see open connections for printer.

I upgraded to 3.7.4, this no longer works. I noticed the lpq first
queries for printer 'all' now and then returns no output.

Is there a way, I query the printer directly.

Thanks,

rajeev
