Hello!
I have following printcap entry for a HP LJ 5simx printer:
5simx:server
        :lp=lj%P%9100
        :lf=/srv/spool/%P/log
        :sd=/srv/spool/%P
        :fx=fpl
        :as=|/srv/print/HOWTO/LPRng-3.7.4/UTILS/accounting.pl start
        :ae=|/srv/print/HOWTO/LPRng-3.7.4/UTILS/accounting.pl end
        :ifhp=model=postscript
        :bp=/srv/print/libexec/filters/psbanner
        :of=/srv/print/libexec/filters/ifhp
        :if=/srv/print/libexec/filters/ifhp

with original files accounting.pl, psbanner, ifhp coming from
3.7.4 distribution. Everything works fine (under Solaris 2.8)
for files coming from Unix computers.
For Windows NT (using TCP/IP) the control files come without "Luserid",
eg:
Apcadmin@INTERAMNIA+187
CA
HINTERAMNIA
Jc:/temp/gsview0u.200
Ppcadmin
Q5simx
Nc:/temp/gsview0u.200
ldfA187INTERAMNIA
UdfA187INTERAMNIA

so that the resulting output on the printer comes without
the banner page (ie. psbanner was not started).
The thing can be cured by adding "Lpcadmin" - line to the control file,
eg.:

Apcadmin@INTERAMNIA+187
CA
HINTERAMNIA
Jc:/temp/gsview0u.200
Lpcadmin
Ppcadmin
Q5simx
Nc:/temp/gsview0u.200
ldfA187INTERAMNIA
UdfA187INTERAMNIA

Is there any possibility to do it automatically with suitable
printcap options, I have tried (of_)filter_options, but I am
too new to LPRng. Does SAMBA do it better?

Thanks
