Moin,
I've updated my LPRng system to 3.6.26 on FreeBSD. Now I
have some problems with my job processing.
I have an print server with a lot of remote RIPs. The
LPRng print server ist for spooling. All jobs go to the
print server.
After the update I have problems with copies. If I send a
job to the print server with -#5 for example the job is
transfered 5 times to the RIP. Thats not a good solution
because my jobs are more the 1GB. On the old installation
the job was transfered only one time, the remote RIP
"ripped" the file and printed it -#n times.
I tryed out the lpd_bounce feature but this is build very
large files if I send -#40 or somthing like that.
A printcap entry for an RIP looks like:
p23:force_localhost
p23|r23|Postscrip RIP 23

Thanks for any hint
Bis dann
