Hi, I am trying to get Phaser 790 to work with LPRng, but I have
been unsuccessful so far. Any help will be greatly appreciated. ;)

The printer prints the first job without problems, but it doesn't
print subsequent jobs after that.

We have a Redhat 6.2 box that is acting as our print server, and
end of this email is the entry in the /etc/printcap for Phaser.

(Side Note:
I also tried this, but it doesn't work at all:
       :sd=/var/spool/LPRng/%P:\
       :lp=/dev/null:\
       :lf=/var/spool/LPRng/%P/log:\
       :ifhp=model=phaser790,dev=128.xx.xx.xxx%9100:\
       :filter=/usr/local/LPRng/lib/filters/ifhp:\
       :of=/usr/local/LPRng/lib/filters/ifhp:\
       :translate_incoming_format=lf:\
       :mx#0:\
       :ab:\
       :du#16:\
)

This is the outpt of lpq when I use the printcap config I listed
below, and it hangs there as "active", even though it is finished
printing the job. Also it doesn't allow other jobs to print after
wards.

We have some hp printers setup already, and I basically copied an entry for
an hp printer to get the Phaser to work (at least it prints the first job). The
more legitimate printcap entry that was suggested by the LPRng HOWTO doesn't
work at all..

I haven't worked with LPRng much, so please pardon any obvious
mistakes.

thanks,
