I would appreciate if somebody could offer assistance as I have am having
difficulity obtaining a pagecount in the accounting files. Page counters
are active on the printer. I have searched the list for similar problems
unfortunately the solutions to the relevant problems have not assisted or
do not apply in this case.
The setup is as follows:
RedHat linux 7.1 (2.4.3-12), LPRng 3.7.4-23, ifhp 3.4.7, accounting.pl
5.5, printer = HP4050 connection via ethernet.
I have run ifhp tests and obtain the pagecount (snip)
ifhp 15:21:53.547 [16200] Do_pagecount: pagecounter 61963 after 1 attempts
ifhp 15:21:53.548 [16200] Do_accounting: pagecounter 61963, pages 1
ifhp 15:21:53.548 [16200] Process_job: done
But using lpq after print a job the following is seen (snip)
Filter_status: pagecounter 0, pages 0 at 15:47:00.133
Filter_status: done at 15:47:00.133
