We don't run lprng on the clients, only on a central server, so there shouldn't be _any_ lprng related files on the workstations. That's the way we're running it now with lprng 3.4.1. I had to go back to the old version again, since I just could get it to work with 3.8.0. I'll try again soon and then you'll probably hear from me again... -Johan Bengtsson > > Try "lpc printcap <printerqueue>" on a client and on the server...also verify > there actually IS an /etc/lpd.conf file there on the server and on the client > machines (and maybe attach a copy of each). > > -- http://www.dd.chalmers.se/~elijah/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
