Goof grief!!!! I spent about 2 months getting that far when I found that
HP4000's would say "Busy" in their status (^T) when they patently weren't.
I ended up talking to a guy in Blegium who was very puzzled as to how I got
past the guards on the tech support phone line. He sent the new chips in
the end because the 4000 was one of the first HP's to use their own
Postscript interpreter rather than Adobe's. Fortunately I moved over to
using the ifhp filter rather than James Clarkes ifps filter soon after to
avoid the pitfalls of HP's software.
