Maybe I should clarify this.
There is somebody on the Internet who knows a sequence packets that
they can send to some JetDirect systems that cause catastrohic
failure. Said person or persons has not communicated with me or
brought pain and suffering into my life for about 18 months now,
for which I am grateful.
The last time they did this it cost me a HP4100 printer and HP4500
(loaner from HP) which I had to return to factory.
Actually, I don't know if the 4500 died due to their ministrations
or mine, I was testing some SNMP on it and it locked up a couple of times
and the final time it never gained conciousness.
No, I do NOT know the packets.
I didn't have a sniffer running at the time.
I really DON'T want to know what they are.
And I DON'T really want to know what they are, as well.
