It's very sporadic. And for the moment I'm done testing the thing that was turning it up, so it may be a while. But when & if I see it again, I'll call. (The current machine is only in here for setup & a bit of development. One of the things being developed (by <sigh> me) is some hacks to partially emulate SYSV lp/lpsched forms-management stuff, allowing printing of alignment patterns ad lib when the forms are first mounted, special setup to the printer of page length etc. on each job for a form, etc.)
Actually, I was just going to rip^H^H^Hcomment out all the calls to set the message. I had thought it would be nice to tell anyone doing lpq on the printer what was happening, but it's not really necessary - and when the printer still says it's aligning long after those forms have been dismounted, that's a problem. -- - Dave Lovelace [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
