Using gcc2.8.1 seems to generate good code, but it won't install
properly. The binaries in the src/.libs directory appear to work but
when installed, produce errors such as
$ lpq
lpq: Cannot find ELF
Killed
That's using the DISTRIBUTIONS/Solaris.pkg/ package creation and
explicit installation.
Looks like libtool or something isn't working quite right.
Can anybody tell me a fix to the problem before I have to figure it
out myself?
