Now I'm stuck.

I got some advice from the list, to try using an intermediate queue.

So I created a funnel queue, and all the printers with filters printed
to that queue, which in turn routed to the network printer. No luck.
The filters were all ignored. The same with using "lpd_bounce" in the
queues with filters.

I got a PARTIAL succes with the funnelling queue, attached as
"printcap_working", but the jobs remained in the source queues and kept
trying to print, although already printed.

I changed the "rp= " and " "rm= " to "lp=lp@hostnname": also no
output.

So now I've gone back to the by yast2 of SuSE7.3 generated printcap
file. With this file, I can print to the first printer, "low". Output
to the others disappears.

I am certain it's something simple, like a "reuse_addr" entry or
"remote_support" or something, but what???

After many days and many hours, I admit, I'm stuck.

Can anyone help???
