I have been observing this problem for a while now. Both of our HP8050DN printer queues become "wedged". I go to the printer room and find the printer displaying "79.00FE Printer Error". Power-cycling the printer fixes the problem. I installed the latest HP8050 printer firmware updates about six weeks ago. According to the firmware changelog it does fix some of those errors which are apparently caused by certain postscript files, etc. However, the problem still continues once in a while even after installing the latest firmware. Does anyone know what's going on? Some day I should track down from the logs who what the last user to send the job to printer before it got wedged and hunt them down ..
