Andrew,
We have seen the same problem and were able to reproduce it with one
particular pdf file. We have since upgraded the firmware to 200220311 MB7.104 and it
corrected the problem with the pdf in question. I can not say whether this will fix
all of the problems causing the 79.00FE error but if you are not at this firmware
level it is worth trying.

Both of our HP 8150Ns exhibit this problem as well. We found it LARGELY
happens when printing PDFs, but that it can also happen with any postscript
file.
We have not yet found any method of solving this problem. If anyone does
find a solution, we'd be quite interested in it.
