The machine has only got TCP/IP enabled on the DAC. There might be a way to turn on the other protocols, but I've no clue how.... I suppose it could be in the admin interface - I've admittedly not looked at it in ages. However, I'd really prefer to use the lpd interface if possible, just to keep the print environment more uniform. The machine seems quite reliable with lpd from an NT machine at the moment, but I haven't found the magic words to make it talk to lprng.
