can you capture the pdf/ps send by NT ? may be the problem is not
sending but printing ?

I've had a go renaming the queue, but without any luck so far. If you
could post a printcap entry, I'd be much obliged....
I've also run packet traces on a successful print from the NT server,
and on my failing jobs from LPRng. I've extracted the control files from
the raw network traffic in the hope someone can see what's going on...

The RFC1179 traffic looks virtually identical in both cases, and all the
reponses are "successful". I can attach full packaet captures in libpcap
format if they'd help. The LPRng job here is just one of numerous
configurations I've tried.
