Right. If you yank the network/usb/parallel cable out, plug in your laptop (with the appropriate cable), print your stuff, plug the cable back in, it is even harder to detect. :-) Students^H^H^H^H^H^H^H Users are just too clever for accounting to be more than a minor obstacle, rather than a 'hard fix'. The ifhp filter gets the page count at the START of a job as well and puts this in the accounting/log file. A smart accounting processor will note the discrepancies and conclude that the 'missing' pages belong to the previous job, which obviously killed the PostScript/PCL interpreter. Sigh.... :-) Patrick ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
