Right. If you yank the network/usb/parallel cable out,  plug in
your laptop (with the appropriate cable), print your stuff, plug
the cable back in, it is even harder to detect.  :-)

Students^H^H^H^H^H^H^H Users are just too clever for accounting to be
more than a minor obstacle,  rather than a 'hard fix'.

The ifhp filter gets the page count at the START of a job as well
and puts this in the accounting/log file.  A smart accounting processor
will note the discrepancies and conclude that the 'missing' pages
belong to the previous job, which obviously killed the PostScript/PCL
interpreter.

Sigh.... :-)
