My experience with LPRng is that "lpc move" works, and you can specify "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" for queues that may not be on our server >and< not in your printcap. However, if the job becomes "active", it's too late. You'll need to stop the queue and start it again, because lpd has the job locked for printing. Stopping a queue with a job in "active" state may lead lpd to unlink the queue files. As long as the other jobs are marked for moving, they will get moved once the active job finishes processing. Make sure you don't have the move command disabled via lpd.perms, though. That would definitely cause problems for you. -- ============================================================================ John Perkins | University of Wisconsin-Madison Associate Researcher | Department of Computer Science [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 1210 W.
