If you have set up a print queue for your printer with the tools coming 
with your distro (or by following the LPRng instructions on 
linuxprinting.org: http://www.linuxprinting.org/lpd-doc.html) the 
spooler will do the conversion from PostScript to PCL automatically. All 
applications (Mozilla, OpenOffice.org, KDE, ...) produce PostScript 
output as device-independent standard format for print jobs. It is the 
spooler's responsability to make the printer's native language out of 
it. So simply choose this "Generic PostScript printer" and the printer 
should print correctly.
