Re: my earlier message - I think I've discovered what the problem is - the printer is attempting to do a DNS lookup, which it can't do because all our printers are on a private subnet, so the lookup doesn't get any further than the dhcp server (which is also the print server) and so this is causing delays. This has only happened now because of changes made to DHCP, which is now giving out DNS info.
