For Kerberos, LPRng has to be built without "setuid". Otherwise lpr will go for the Kerberos credentials of the root user and you get this error message:
Send_auth_transfer: on client krb5_cc_get_principal failed - No credentials cache found
As of LPRng-3.8.26, the default of "disable-setuid" doesn't work under Linux. You have to specify "--disable-setuid".
