Hi guys
I was looking at the 1.2 branch to identify what is required before publishing
a new stable version and I notice severeals items :
- completing web site documentation : I think it's now require to separate a
documentation between different major versions. Some elements can be shared or
referred in the previous versions, but for example, the quick start must be
updated and I think this is important not to loose the previous work
Absolutely. Should we divide the doc section of the wiki into
sub-sections per major version? ie, documentation/1.2/blah instead of
documentation/blah?
I would like to get a simple version of the user guide out for 1.2
release, as well (http://lsc-project.org/user-guide/). By the way -
someone who understands CSS / has some taste still really needs to look
at the style of that guide! :)
- check against the Javadoc: check for completeness and correctness of the
whole Javadoc
- add IzPack to 1.2 branch : because I wrote it for the trunk, it could be
great if some of you can test it to check it before 1.2 branch inclusion.
I've tested it and tweaked it a bit, and commited it to 1.2 branch.
Works for me. Rémy-Christophe, could you test on MacOS?
The installer could do with a bit of graphical niceties, ie having our
logo :) But nothing major.
I will take a look at the first two points, but I need you for the last one.
As I remember, our primary target was to release a 1.2 version before Fosdem
and it is now in less than 3 weeks :)
Go go go ! ;-)
