Hiya,
We released 1.2.0 on 16/05/2010, and we have corrected a few bugs since
then on the 1.2 branch [1]:
- Bug #216: SLF4J error message: loggers created during the default
configuration phase
- Bug #234: The ldap.search method causes continuation referrals to be
thrown
- Bug #249: Tests JAR is not packaged in dist archive - sample can fail
in some cases
- Bug #250: Possible NPE in LscAttributes
Also, not listed here, we have corrected the lsc-sample script to
function (at least a bit) better on Cygwin (see bug #215).
As you can see nothing very serious has changed, but a few bugs relate
to the sample, and noisy but useless error messages. I think these
changes will make it easier for newcomers to 'adopt' LSC.
Therefore, I think it might be a good time to release a minor update:
1.2.1. What do you think?
Also, Clément has made some RPMs for RHEL5 (and probably 4). A new
version would be a good time to announce these too!
If you do agree we should release 1.2.1, would you please download the
latest nightly [2], and run the sample [3], to make sure all is OK? Thanks!
