Hiya,
We released 1.2.0 on 16/05/2010, and we have corrected a few bugs since
then on the 1.2 branch [1]:
- Bug #216: SLF4J error message: loggers created during the default
configuration phase
- Bug #234: The ldap.search method causes continuation referrals to be
thrown
- Bug #249: Tests JAR is not packaged in dist archive - sample can fail
in some cases
- Bug #250: Possible NPE in LscAttributes
Also, not listed here, we have corrected the lsc-sample script to
function (at least a bit) better on Cygwin (see bug #215).
As you can see nothing very serious has changed, but a few bugs relate
to the sample, and noisy but useless error messages. I think these
changes will make it easier for newcomers to 'adopt' LSC.
Therefore, I think it might be a good time to release a minor update:
1.2.1. What do you think?
Since I wrote this email, a few more bugs have been fixed:
* Bug #209: Bad URL parsing
* Bug #216: SLF4J error message: loggers created during the default
configuration phase
* Bug #223: srcBean is not consistent
* Bug #224: Bad handling of / character in RDN
* Bug #234: The ldap.search method causes continuation referrals to
be thrown
* Bug #249: Tests JAR is not packaged in dist archive - sample can
fail in some cases
* Bug #250: Possible NPE in LscAttributes
* Bug #251: logOperation parameter is ignored by CSV logger
* Bug #252: Error deleting entry with a suffix containg a space
* Bug #253: Bad default character handling
* Bug #257: Extra commas returned in ldap.search method causing errors
See http://tools.lsc-project.org/versions/show/38.
So, we should probably release 1.2.1 to get these fixes available in a
release, don't you think?
