o BUT as a result, some dependencies are not compliant with java 6
anymore, such as Sleepycat/Berkeley DB and Apache Directory LDAP API
and probably many more. So we have 2 choices :
- Upgrades to versions that still support java 6, which I haven't
done yet.
- Not support java 6 anymore starting 2.2.0, which sounds fine
for me
and clement, what do you think ?
Seems fine to me too.
I would like to know who is in favor of removing Java 7 support too?
This would allow us to introduce lambdas for example.
I think lot of LSC users still are with Java 7, but we could do a poll
on lsc-users list to have an idea about it.
Could you give me feedback on these matters ? Also clement is awaiting
your approval for giving me writing rights on the svn repository.
You have it, let's go!
I will manage this. I plan to migrate to github soon, so we will maybe
wait for this.
Clément.
