Hi Shannon,

You may remove or ignore the serverType which is used only  when binding to
the source directory in a asynchronous "on-the-fly" synchronization mode:
this is a mode that starts the LSC as a daemon and pull the directories for
updates and the Active Directory way is not currently supported by the LSC.

Can you give me some explanations about the pre-run/pretend need ?
